As I producer I strive to help young musicians find there unique sound. What I provide is an allround studio experience either in my own studio or remotely. I combine my experience as a musician and songwriter with my production skills to provide a professional end result for an affordable price.
Musician
Yates is the solo project of Dutch multi-instrumentalist Dennis Jansen. Known for his work with Pathways, INIGO and Amber’s Autumn, he brings a unique blend of pop, rock, indie and alternative influences to life under the name Yates. Each song is a dynamic journey, rich in melancholic depth and captivating melodies. Step into Yates’ atmospheric soundscapes and let the music carry you away.
In addition, Jansen co-wrote the impressive Heart of the Matter for Tim Akkerman together with Sander Kalmeijer and Joost Marsman (IOS), a song that brought the Hague-born singer national and international recognition.
Alongside his work as a songwriter, producer and solo artist, Jansen is a core member of the live band of Rosa Spruit (runner-up at the 2025 Regiosongfestival), where his multi-instrumental skills truly come into their own.
His collaboration with Everything We’re Not (Evert Zeevalkink), Haunted By The Quiet, received airplay on Dutch national radio station 3FM.
